system uptime, Intermec offers the Medallion® services portfolio. With
a range of response times and contract durations, these flexible service
offerings are designed to meet both your customer’s requirements and
the demands of their working environment.
Medallion® Complete – Bronze:*
•
Provides support for medium and heavy product handling solutions;
•
Covers hardware failure, accidental damage and general wear and tear.
•
Return to base 5 working day repair performed at an Intermec
Repair Centre (excluding transit time)
•
Includes: parts, labour, and return carriage
•
Cost of carriage to an Intermec facility is paid for by the customer
MEDALLION STANDARD – BRONZE:*
•
Return to base 5 working day product repair at an Intermec-
operated facility (excluding transit time)
•
Covers: parts, labour and return carriage
•
Accidental damage or misuse is not covered
•
Cleaning and Calibration
•
Cost of carriage to Intermec facility to be paid for by customer
Medallion® Select – Bronze:*
•
Designed to meet the requirements of the light product handling,
rugged mobile computer customer
•
Covers hardware failure, accidental damage and general wear and tear
•
Return to base 5 working day repair performed at an Intermec
Repair Centre (excluding transit time)
•
includes: parts, labour, and return carriage
•
Cost of carriage to an Intermec facility is paid for by the customer.
MEDALLION STANDARD – SILVER:*
•
Return to base 2-working day product repair at an Intermec-
operated facility (excluding transit time)
•
Covers: parts, labour and return carriage
•
Accidental damage or misuse is not covered
•
Cleaning and Calibration
•
Cost of carriage to Intermec facility to be paid for by customer
MEDALLION STANDARD – GOLD:**
•
Two-business day on-site response to the customer call, if the call
is placed before 3:00pm local time
•
Covers parts and labour (excluding print heads)
•
Available 5 days a week Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
exc. Public holidays
•
Accidental damage or misuse is not covered
MEDALLION STANDARD – PLATINUM:**
•
Next business day on-site response to the customer call, if the call
is placed before 3:00pm local time
•
Covers: parts and labour (excluding print heads)
•
Available 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 9:00aa – 5:00pm

•
Accidental damage or misuse is not covered

Service Packs provide a commoditised service ‘product’ designed for
sale through the Distribution channel

•
Packs for 1, 5, or 10 devices

Fixed price pack (No PE support)
•
Each pack is uniquely identified with a barcode & serial number
•
Includes multi-country docs (EFIGS initially)
•
Pack contains details of the service offering, plus the current T&Cs
•
Packs are activated on-line by the reseller or end user
